I took the plunge and ordered this against the advice of my prostheses fitter who felt that it wouldn’t be the right choice for me. I am so glad that I chose to try it, it does make a difference and widens the range of bras that you can wear. The size and weight make this much easier to wear and tolerate, it also doesn’t build up as much heat as other prostheses such as the contact and natura light which I have worn. A couple of things to bear in mind, using the pump requires good manual dexterity as the pumps cannula is inserted into a small inlet and it will be fiddly for some. You also need good vision. Amoena state this prostheses can be worn next to skin without a pocketed bra, while this is possible it’s worth mentioning that the bra has to have a snug fit so as to hold it in place, having said that it tends to move around less than other prostheses because it’s lighter. I really like this product, it’s worth the money.
