With Amoena's styles, the little hidden extras ensure that you feel confident and comfortable while looking fabulous. Cup sizing Dress sizes aren't always enough when choosing swimwear. Many of our styles come in different cup sizes - some are available in a B or C fitting, with a smaller selection offered in A and D fittings too.

  • Bust shaping : An elasticated underband and integral bra hold your breast form or swim prosthesis closely against your body, so there's no need to worry about it slipping down or falling forward, even in a wet swimsuit. The integral soft cups combine support and gentle bust shaping for a completely natural look.
  • Pockets : Amoena swimwear has specially designed pockets on both sides to hold your breast form(s) discreetly and securely in place. No-one will notice your prosthesis and it cannot slip, so you can move freely with complete confidence.   • Underarm : Whether you want to camouflage high scarring or just have that extra bit of security, the slightly higher cut of our swimwear under the arms provides peace of mind without excess coverage.
  • Standard legline : Unless stated otherwise, our swimwear has a standard legline - not cut too high or too low - suitable and flattering for most figures and all ages.
  • Standard back : Unless otherwise stated, the back of each swimsuit is 1-2 inches below your bra line, for comfort and security.

All Amoena swimwear is sized by dress size and bra cup size, i.e. if your dress size is an 8 and your bra cup size is a C, you would a 8C in swimwear.

Trouble matching the size on this suit with the size chart. Afraid of ordering the wrong size. I will need a 20 I think in this suit or maybe an 18. Generally I get an 18 but I thought I might need more give in this suit

When selecting swimwear, you would use your dress size and your bra cup size. For example: if you wear a dress size 18 and bra size 40D, you would select swimwear in a size 18D.  If you think you need more room for comfort, select a size 20.

Does the Rhodes swimsuit come in an A or AA size? I wear a 34 AA in the Amoena Lilly padded bra. B cup would be much too large or me.

Where is the Rhodes A cup? The B cups are way too large for my prosthesis and they hang down like udders! So embarrassing! this is the ONLY decent suit you sell to begin with. Any A cups???

Sorry the Rhodes Swimwear is not available in A cup sizing, we do however have the Manhattan One Piece Swimsuit and the Sunrise One-Piece Swimsuit Bandeau available in A cup.

I wear a 2 and ordered a 6 because I read that this suit runs small. It was still way too tight. Also, the small opening in the breast pocket made putting the form in very difficult. In addition the suit color appears faded out and bland.

The suit arrived very quickly - good service there. However, the material is so non-stretchy that I could barely pull it up over my hips and onto my shoulders. Too tight, will return it.

The swimsuit was so tight on me. I had to struggle to get it on. I chose my right size which is size 6, and the tag says size 6, but it definitely is not the size it says. I wanted to return it but I have already taken off the tag. What a waste of my money.

I am a size 12 and ordered a 34 c and 36 b, the 34 c I struggled to get over my hips so I would order a size up. The fabric is quite thick so I its more for swimming than laying by the pool. Lovely colour.

As such it is a good quality swimming suit but I returned it because I found the body too short and too tight around the hips. The main problem was that the cup did not hold my prosthesis well enough.

I love this chlorine resistant swimming costume. Nice fit and colour. It’s great to find a costume which is high enough around the arms and at the neck to hide my scars. Good support for my prostheses. All in all I very pleased with this purchase.
