Bilateral means that it has pockets on both sides and can be worn with a breast form in both sides, one side or neither side as the pockets are made from very thin material.

I have a Lara bra, size 34B, from 2009 when I had my surgery. It has lost its elasticity and is too loose so I need to replace it. Are the newer Lara bras exactly the same? In other words, if I order the same size, can I expect it to fit the same way? It is my favorite bra. Please let me know. Thank you!

Yes it is the same item and it will fit the same. It might be softer and more comfortable as we are always trying to improve.

The 38AA in the EU size would be the same for the US size as well; 38AA in the Lara Bra.
