The Second International Trophy - German Design Award 2021
After receiving the Red Dot Award in early 2020, Adapt Air has also won the German Design Award 2021. The new breast form has been awarded with a »Gold« distinction for Excellent Product Design in the category “Medical, Rehabilitation and Health Care”.

The »Gold« distinction of the German Design Awards is the highest distinction, awarded for excellent, comprehensive and innovative design work. As leading trailblazers, »Gold« title holders provide crucial stimulation for entire industries. The jury names one or more »Gold« recipients in each category, depending on the quality of the submissions.
The German Design Awards set the highest standards in terms of selecting their winners: in the nomination process, expert committees of the German Design Council only invite those products and communication design services for participation in the awards who demonstrably stand out from the competition on account of their design excellence. All distinctions are awarded during a two-day jury meeting.
Up to 40% Lighter Than a Conventional Prosthesis
Thanks to the use of a special lightweight silicone, prostheses in the Adapt Air range are also available in two different weight categories and are either 25 per cent or 40 per cent lighter than a conventional prosthesis of the same size. A lightweight breast form helps reduce strain on the neck and shoulders, easing back pain. It is also important for women experiencing lymphoedema or osteoporosis following breast cancer treatment.

Such a difference
I am very impressed with this breast form. The difference in weight has made such a difference and reduced back/shoulder pain. The air pocket makes the fit much better and it feels a lot more natural. I have always been between sizes so this is perfection for me. I am absolutely delighted and would recommend this product.

So pleased with this really clever design. Much lighter than my aqua wave and more comfortable on my shoulder than any other silicone prosthesis I have tried. It fits all the different mastectomy bras I have bought over the past couple of years but couldn’t quite get a perfect fit with other prosthesis. Worth every penny!
Best fit
Most expensive breast form I’ve brought, but so glad I did. The light weight has really helped with pain in shoulder and neck I feel from heavier breast forms and the fit is amazing. So pleased.
