Description

For woman following breast saving surgery, radiotherapy, reconstruction or naturally uneven breasts. Partial consisting of two layers: a very soft cup silicone layer in regular weighted silicone and a Comfort+ layer including a lightweight silicone on the back side, a super-soft film on the cup side with finely tapered edges.

I'm trying to order new breast implants for a patient having reconstruction and I'm wondering if you know the size (in cc's or mLs) of the Amoena balance oval 283B prosthesis, size 2/3? Thanks.

We do not have the capacity of these in the dimensions below but I would suggest creating your own Eureka moment using an easy experiment with the Archimedes principle taking a measuring jug half filled with water, take the measurement of the water then add the 283B, take the new measurement, subtract the start number from the final number and this is the measurement of the form inc the film.

They are exactly the same size but the B is slightly thicker, we would suggest that you visit a fitter to ensure that you select the most appropriate style to provide you with the best fit and symmetic look.

My Daughter was just given 283B by the hospital but they couldn’t tell her if it was ok to swim in. If it’s not, what would be the equivalent that is safe to swim in?

Answer

You are ok to swim with a silicone breast form but you should always wash it thoroughly to clean it afterwards, especially if swimming in chlorinated water as this will damage the form over time.. There are swim forms that are specific to swimming and these have design features to keep the form in place whilst in the water and are far more resistant to chlorine.

From your question I'm not sure if you mean can you fit the 283B into the pockets in the swimwear range; yes, you can but it will move around if used in water as it is a partial breast form or if you mean is the 283B availble in a swim form; no, we only offer a full breast form as a swim form.

Hi, I ordered a breast form a while ago size 5 and when it arrived it was way too large. Therefore I sent it back. I have had a poor reconstruction with dipping muscle around my breast and a considerable indentation towards the armpit area. Would a partial be the right product for me. I wear a 38C bra what size breast form would you recommend? I look forward to hearing from you.
